Dichroic "squid ink" fabric inspired by 500+ million years of evolution.
The squids' skin is one of the most complex and unique biological materials on this planet. While most creatures with color-changing ability do it to hide, squids do it to attract. Which is where the inspiration for flexliving's reflective release came from.
Our rainbow reflective fabric is stealthy, until you don't want it to be. The fabric is a mellow gray/black, and then when the light hits it just right, it comes to life and looks like it's from another dimension.

These shorts are incredibly reflective and I feel much safer running early in the AM. Some customers speak of the weight of the shorts and that it doesn’t effect their runs…. I agree. I love the liner and the useful pockets.
These shorts are no joke...I saw the plethora of positive reviews and decided to give it a shot. Sure they run a bit pricey, but like most things, you definitely get what you pay for. These shorts are not only soooo comfortable, but make you stand out in a crowd (if you are anything like me, then you love to be the center of attention, and these are sure to draw eyes).
THE ONLY CAVEAT EMPTOR>>> these bad boys like to hold on to water spots and stains, and trust me, you WILL see them, especially when they reflect (careful in those urinals...you CANNOT afford a splashback on these shorts because they are noticeable from a mile away). Now, these spots and the shorts overall clean really easily! I will generally use a damp cloth to wipe off dried water spots or mild stains and it comes right out. Additionally, these hold water like a sponge, so I would advise against swimming in them.
Otherwise, GET THEM (if you are on the fence). I loved this purchase, truly did. I tediously looked through the reviews to see if I would get them, so this review you are currently reading serves as a guide for those wondering. WONDER no further good sir or ma'am. Have a good day!
Great for low light running or biking. Heavy duty undershorts. But still comfortable.
Got my shorts in the mail and they are really great.
The rainbow reflect is amazing and the fabric, although thicker than I expected, is comfortable to wear.
